Applying for housing
Jyväskylä University of applied sciences - Exchange and degree students can apply with this application.
University of Jyväskylä- Exchange students apply through the international office. Degree students can apply with this web application.
Note that the exchange students and first year degree students have a priority for the rooms in August and September.
The application is valid for 3 months. You’ll get an automatic reply to your email when we have received your application.
Rooms with furniture are available mainly in Myllyjärvi and Roninmaki areas and only some rooms in Ristonmaa and Keltinmäki.
The rent includes water, electricity, cable TV connection, internet connection, use of the laundry room and common sauna times.
The offer will be sent to the given email address approximately month before the lease would begin. The offers that are not confirmed with deposit by the given date, will be cancelled.
Filling in the application. Note that you can only apply the room for yourself. If you wish to share the flat with someone - an application is needed from both. Couples can apply with one application.
The lease is always for a full month. Choose the month when you wish to have the room / flat carefully.
Fill in the personal information (name/sex) carefully.
Fill in the date of birth in this form . For example Feb 15 1981 as 150281.
Choose the school carefully.
Fill in your email address carefully.
Mention in the additional requirements if you have any wishes about who you’d like to share the flat with. Mention also the time you'll need the room from KOAS (x months).
